Lazy,Rainy Day
Grey leaden skies,no hint of blue.
just sat here looking "What to do"!
We need the rain,the ground is dry
but many,many people are asking why!
Why,Why does it rain! it's the question on their lips
they ask in vain.
We need the rain,the ground is dry
my friends understand the grass will die!
These are tears of joy and heaven sent
and I'm sorry for you ALL but I have no regret.
The summer will come,just sit back and wait
for those long barmy evenings there just a little bit late!
My wish has come true?
I wished for rain this summers day
we needed to take the sun away.
The grass is brown we need the rain
this long dry spell has been a pain.
I wished for rain this summers day
and hope the rain is here to stay?
Stay a while and "Green Up" the grass
is all I wish and all I ask.
No need to spoil the summer though
just do your job then you can go.

have been shed every week.

pounding the street.
Dressed all in "Pink"
you'll run so fast.
To rais money with pride
for ALL those who have passed.

is close to our hearts.
